Kroger Community Rewards Program

You can support the Library by joining the Kroger Community Rewards program!  Just go to http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com and follow the step-by-step directions for registering your Kroger Plus card.  Your purchases will begin earning rewards for the Salem-South Lyon District Library within 7-10 business days and the bottom of your Kroger receipt will say "At your request, Kroger is donating to the Salem-South Lyon District Library."  Your Kroger Plus Card can be linked to only one organization at a time and you will need to re-enroll annually.  The Salem-South Lyon District Library NPO number is 90390.    If you need assistance in registering, a librarian would be happy to help you.

JoAnne Purtan on Annie's Ghosts our 1st Annual Community Read!!

Submitted by llevier on Wed, 2010-08-25 12:23.

The Neighborhood Library Association proudly presents the first annual Community Read!

Annies Ghosts CoverWhat is a Community Read?
Simply put, it is one book uniting five communities through reading, discussion and learning.

Our goal: is to bring together our respective communities, Novi, Northville, Wixom, Lyon and Salem-South Lyon Libraries, through the shared experience of reading a selected title. That means, you, your neighbors, friends, co-workers, book clubs, and anyone else in your community who enjoys a good story.

This year’s selected title is the highly acclaimed, Annie’s Ghosts by Steve Luxenberg.

Pick up a copy of the book at your neighborhood library and mark your calendar for some of the great book-related events coming this fall, including book discussions and visit by the author!
